The main objective
in Black Jack is to get a hand higher than the dealer's
without going over 21. The game starts when a player
makes his bets. His bets must be minimum $1 and maximum
$100 per hand.
A player may choose to play at more than one seat (
max 3 ).
Player places his bets and the dealer will start dealing
the cards.
The dealer gives 2 cards to each seat. The first dealer
card is face up and can be seen. The second dealer's
card is faced down.
The values of the cards in Black Jack
from two to ten are at face value.
Jacks, Queens and Kings count ten and the Ace counts
eleven or one.
The Ace always counts eleven except if your total exceeds
21 - then the value of the Ace is reduced to one.
A hand with one Ace having the value
of eleven is called a soft hand and a hand with all
Aces having the value of one is called a hard hand.
Exceeding a total of 21, and already counting all the
aces you have in your hand as one, means you are bust
and lose your bet.
The deal must hit cards before 16 and
stands after all 17's (i.e if the point total is 16
or less the dealer must take a hit. If the point total
is 17 or more the dealer must stand.)
Once the dealers hand is complete the winner is determined
by which hand is closer to 21 without exceeding it.
A player plays only against the dealer.
If all players hands are busted or surrendered and there
is no any insurance bet placed, the dealer will finish
the game immediatelly.
Blackjack - If the player or the dealer first two cards
has total of 21
Push - If the player's hand and the dealer's hands have
equal total (Bj vs BJ, 21 vs 21, 18 vs 18 ..... ). Then
nobody wins hand bet is returned
Bust - When hand's total exceedes 21 and all Aces are
count as 1. Shuch hand loses.
If a player is not satisfied with his hand, he ask the
dealer to deals him a card in addition of his current
hand cards.
Player hits untill he is satisfied with his total or
ntil hi bust. Player may take as many hits as he wants
in attempt to get closer
to 21.
If a player is satisfied with his hand and doesn't want
any more cards, he may elect to stand anytime. Hand
waits for estimation at the end of entire deal.
If a player beleives that he will win with one more
card, he may double his initial bet and may win twice
more.
He decides this on first 2 cards. After double down
player receives only one card and he can't elect to
a take hit after that.
Player may double down on split or resplit hands also.
If a player's first 2 cards are pair player may elect
to split his hand. He obatains 2 hands as each card
of original
hand became a first card of new hands. Player makes
additional bet for new created hand same like original.
If a player receives BJ with a split hand, it is considered
21 and NOT a BJ.
- Player may splits only two cards of same type (i.e
two 5's)
- Player may resplit up to 3 times
- Player can't split Aces
If a player doesn't like his hand he may elect to surrender
( Note: Player may surrender his hand only on first
2 cards, and will lose half of the original bet ).
The type of surrender implemented at Privilege Casino
is 'late'. This means:
- Dealer makes initial check for BJ
- Player can't surrender if dealer has BJ
- Player can't surrender his hand if dealer's up card
is an Ace
When a player believes that dealer has a BJ and dealer
up card is Ace, he may elect to buy an insurance.
Isurance costs half of original bet and is paid out 2-1.
If the dealer has a BJ, the player wins his insurance.
If the dealer doesn't have a BJ, player loses insurance
bet. In both cases hand is played as usual.
So insurance is a different bet and doesn't impact estimation
of player hand.
If a hand is insured split on it is not allowed.
